Instructions:

Installation:

The installers on both DISC1 and DISC2 are protected with SecuROM.
This means that the setups will check if the original discs are in the drive before proceeding with the actual installation.
Daemon-Tools and YASU (Yet Another SecuROM Utility) are needed in order to bypass the protection.
Also, when you want to uninstall the game, you need to have the DISC1-image mounted in Daemon-Tools with YASU.
The game itself is NOT protected with SecuROM, but with a DVD-Check, just like the first edition of Oblivion.
Follow the instructions below and everything should work out fine.

01. Install the latest Daemon-Tools (Daemon-Tools v4.10 (32-bit) is included in this torrent (\Tools\daemon410-x86.exe));
02. Extract YASU.exe from \Tools\YASU_1-4-7080.rar into the Daemon-Tools install folder;
03. Run YASU.exe and cloack the virtual drive created by Daemon-Tools;
03. Mount the DISC1- and DISC2-images using Daemon-Tools and install* TES4: Oblivion - GOTY Edition;
04. Play! (DISC1 is required in the drive)

NoDVD crack instructions (OPTIONAL):

01. Extract the cracked Oblivion.exe from the archive in \NoDVD\ into the install folder, overwriting the original executable;
02. Play without DVD/image!

Burning:

Although it is possible to burn the images with Alcohol 120%, you will not be able to install or uninstall the game from those copies.
However, you can burn the image-files on a DVD as FILES with Nero or any other burning program.
Then you can mount the image-files with Daemon-Tools + YASU from the burned DVD(s) and you can install the game without problems.
YASU is needed to bypass the SecuROM protection and it only works with Daemon-Tools and not with physical drives.
You can use a burned copy of DISC1 for gameplay though (you don't need YASU or Daemon-Tools for this).

*Known install/uninstall issues:

The installer might hang on some systems (when InstallShield tries to install DirectX) at the end after installing Oblivion (DISC1).
This is a known problem which happenend also with the first edition of Oblivion.
Be patient and wait for 5-10 minutes until the installer closes.
If the installer still doesn't close, you can terminate it via the task manager.
If you choose to terminate the installer, a restart may be needed in order for DISC2 to be installed successfully.
Also, you will get an error message when you want to uninstall the game.
A solution to this problem is to reinstall Oblivion (DISC1 only) in the same directory.
After that, you should be able to uninstall the game without errors.
